IOP Public Dock

 

The newly renovated Isle of Palms Public Dock is located at the Isle of Palms Marina at 50 41st Avenue. The public dock is open every day from sunrise to sunset and is free to use.

You CAN:

  • Launch a kayak or paddle board
  • Fish
  • Read a book
  • Watch the sunset
  • Spot dolphins
  • Take a break on the swings
  • Enjoy time with your family and friends!

For your safety and to ensure everyone enjoys this space, please DON’T:

  • Swim
  • Litter
  • Have your pet unleashed and leave your pet waste
  • Smoke
  • Consume alcoholic beverages

Mooring of motorized vessels or watercraft is prohibited.

 

Parking

Parking is available at the marina site. The City offers 16 resident only parking spaces located next to the public dock. Golf cart parking is also available on 41st Avenue just before the entrance to the marina. Residents with properly credentialed vehicles can park in the designated resident only parking spaces free of charge. A properly credentialed vehicle has an Isle of Palms Resident Parking Permit or a Wild Dunes Resident decal. Pay-to-Park spaces are also available.
